| Modifying the default process priority permanently in the registry is really easy to do using Win2K DataCenter (http://support.microsoft.com/?kbid=296930), but unfortunatly the Process Control service doesn't exist in other Win2K/WinXP versions so... ...we're stuck with using a batch file or changing the applications shortcut to call "cmd", then "start" and then the application. Something like: %systemroot%\system32\cmd.exe /c "start /HIGH myapp.exe" Available paramaters are /low, /belownormal, /normal, /high, or /realtime. Good luck. |
