If you're talking about taking a screen shot of a DVD movie, then that's dependent upon the software DVD player. If you have one of the plug-in Xpacks from Intervideo or Sonic, then that's done directly in Windows Media Player. If you have a full DVD player like intervideo's WinDVD 5, then the player has a capture button.
