and that would stop them from being on the other end of a DoS attack how??
I know it sounds unlikely, but it was down on the day that the worm was supposed to re attack. I find it logical.

I know they did not, and I am sorry for the confusion I have caused. I just thought that perhaps they had been the new target, like the whitehouse.gov, because on the day it was to re-emerge, the page would not load and I would get an error message (and yahoo would be an impresive target). I posted too soon, but was hoping I had found something:-) Sorry again for the confusion.

For a ComputerExpert your description of IIS being "Crap Tacular" seems a bit naive. Should your username be Computer Expert in Training?

It amuses me to no end when ignorant "experts" (bandwagon penguinistas) take every opportunity to bash Microsoft when worms have been around for many, many years in the Unix community.
In fact, remember those distributed denial of service attacks perpetrated on Ebay, Amazon, and several others about two summers ago?
Yeah, that's right, it was a worm that had infected entire University computer departments... almost all run Linux... that's right, the Almighty Linux.
So whenever a moron like "ComputerExpert" starts embarassing himself like that again, have a laugh and recognize him for the idiot that he is.
