Module unknown refers to a 16 bit module. In my experience, unknown usually refers to spyware or the matrix virus.

Do this: go to start > run > type: command, click ok.

then type cd ..
then type dir /a /s mtx_.exe

If you have matrix virus it's in c:\windows

To access the add/remove directly you can go to start > run > type: control appwiz.cpl

You can also go to housecall.antivirus.com to do a free virus scan, i would highly suggest doing this.

If that doesn't work, you can follow this article:

http://support.microsoft.com/support/kb/articles/Q276/4/05.ASP

To find out what the unknown is, you can drag c:\windows\drwatson.exe to your start > programs > startup, group. Next time it crashes itll list the actual module.

Hope this helps.
