What the heck is wrong with Activating Windows. I swear some people bitch about the most silly things. The way I see it is a protection of my investment. If I pay good money for it then I don't want some pirate going around giving software away for free when I paid my good hard earned money for it. Just for this crap I think I am going to start a website petitioning MS to keep product activation in there.

Ok if you live hundreds of miles away from civilization you have more worries than Windows Product activation. You are going to have to drive hundreds of miles to buy that new computer right? Why don't you just activate when you are in the city buying your computer? This is a pretty lame example. I think you are more concerned with the fact that it will make it harder for you to pirate software. And which I reply Waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa.
