Can you provide some additional information on your computer: 1. make/model 2. make/mfgr of soundcard Also, when the problem first started, did you recently install a new program or update? ---------------------------------------------- Work is for people who don't know how to surf Gateway 700C - P4 1.8gz, 512mb RAM, ATi Radeon 8500; SB Live Value; Windows XP Professional, Photoshop CS, Nikon D100

Having more specific information can help diagnose the root cause of the problem, and possibily prevent it from happening again. Without it, it's simply a wild @ss guess as to what the cause and cure is. In the interium, download and run REGCLEAN (from download.com) and reinstall the software/drivers for your sound card. ---------------------------------------------- Work is for people who don't know how to surf Gateway 700C - P4 1.8gz, 512mb RAM, ATi Radeon 8500; SB Live Value; Windows XP Professional, Photoshop CS, Nikon D100
