| By chance, is it the laptop that looses connection? If so, my first guess is that the laptop goes into either sleep or hybernation, and that's when the connection gets dropped. Check the manual for any suggestions on this. You might also want to go over to Microsoft's WinXP site and post the question in the discussion forums.
