I ran EZCD 5 (w/ all the various patches) under Win2000 with somewhat acceptable results. However, would occasionally run into instability problems.

Would appreciate anyone's input as to how stable it is under WinXP. Specifically, I had experienced system lockups occasionally that were related to DirectCD. I've used the built-in WinXP CDRW software to backup files, which seems to work fine for that.

My alternative is to use Nero 5.5 for burning and Cool Edit 2000 for music/audio mastering (similar to Roxio's Spin Doctor)
