Tough one to figure out. Suggest downloading/running Advanced Windows Care (the freeware version) and running that. Additionally, download/run Spybot (I've found it better than Adaware). When did this problem start? i.e. after installing an application or downloading something from the internet? ---------------------------------------------- Work is for people who don't know how to surf Gateway Performance 1800 - P4 1.8gz, 512mb RAM, ATi Radeon 8500; SB Live Value; Windows XP Professional, Photoshop CS2, Nikon D2Hs and D100

My last reply had an error and the computer wants to be rebooted. What is the best way to remove dust? (Ionic breeze t ype things ok?) What is the best local cooling solution? What about a small window unit brought indoors and aimed at the box? [/QUOTE] urm...what are you trying to say here?
