What did you upgrade that started this problem? Was it the video card? ---------------------------------------------- Work is for people who don't know how to surf Gateway Performance 1800 - P4 1.8gz, 512mb RAM, ATi Radeon 8500; SB Live Value; Windows XP Professional, Photoshop CS2, Nikon D2Hs and D100

Definitely sounds like a hardware issue. I'd probably first start with the graphics card (i.e. replace it with maybe the Asus version). Reason - as games are graphics intensive (duh!) and can cause overheating, there may be either defective RAM or something else. Try that. If it continues, I'd look at switching the mobo next for a possible bad chipset. My $$ is on the graphics card though (had several cause this type of problem before). ---------------------------------------------- Work is for people who don't know how to surf Gateway Performance 1800 - P4 1.8gz, 512mb RAM, ATi Radeon 8500; SB Live Value; Windows XP Professional, Photoshop CS2, Nikon D2Hs and D100
