Man it seems you've had a lot of problems joe? I think ive seen you post half a dozen different problems!

The 2 errors you mention, irql_not_less_or_equal and page_fault_in_non_paged_memory are caused by 3rd party drivers running in kernel mode. I woud suspect your video or sound card, but would need more information first.

Unfortantly, as long as 3rd parties make flaky drivers, these issues won't go away. It seems your system is home built; obviously microsoft cannot test nor guarenty an installation on mixed hardware. Check the HCL - microsoft.com/HCL to make sure the system is hcl compliant. Make sure all drivers are most current, using windows update or the 3rd party manu site.

By default windows will restart on a blue screen - change this by right clicking my computer > properties > advanced > startup and recovery > uncheck 'auto restart'

Right down the exact blue screen. By default it'll be logged in event viewer under system. If you can give me the full error i can probably tell you what driver is causing it.

Also, use sigverif to find any unsigned drivers. If a driver is unsigned it doesnt mean it wont work, it just means the manu hasnt paid MS $5000 to test the driver. Using unsigned drivers could result in system instability.

Finally, like i have said this is a 3rd party driver issue, obviously since you've formated many times. If you don't want to put the work into it just format and install win9x which is much less picky about hardware (which is why it crashes so much). If you want to install linux go for it - it'll take you a week just to figure out how to get your modem to work, good luck!
