| Thanks - as I suspected, the Geek Squad installed WinXP twice on your system. This creates the dual boot. Removing it can be done. If you're comfortable, Microsoft has directions on how to do it. If you have any friends that are good with computers, you might want to ask for their help. http://support.microsoft.com/kb/888023/en-us If you paid Best Buy to fix your computer, I'd be asking for at least a partial refund as they did a poor job. It's not "something windows does sometimes". | OK - if the computer is under warrenty, back up any data to a CD or DVD and take it back to Best Buy and tell 'em they messed up - big time. | Does your computer include a DVD or CD burner? Also, which CD burning program is included (other than the native burning built into WinXP) with your computer? You can back up your data (everything under My Documents) along with things such as address books (suggest saving them in My Documents also) to a CD or DVD (depending upon the amount of data).
