First thing to have checked is the powersupply. Auto shutdown can be a sympton of a failing powersupply. ---------------------------------------------- Work is for people who don't know how to surf Gateway Performance 1800 - P4 1.8gz, 512mb RAM, nVidia 5200; SB Live Value; Windows XP Professional, Photoshop CS2, Nikon D200 and D100

An error message won't be displayed if the power supply is failing. Depending upon what your doing (i.e. if what you're doing is processor or system intensive), this could be overloading the power supply, causing the shutdown. I've had and seen this a number of times. Suggest having it checked by a local shop. ---------------------------------------------- Work is for people who don't know how to surf Gateway Performance 1800 - P4 1.8gz, 512mb RAM, nVidia 5200; SB Live Value; Windows XP Professional, Photoshop CS2, Nikon D200 and D100
