There are no legal places to obtain XP Home for free, and ActiveNetwork does not support the illegal obtaining of software. Your friend should purchase a copy of XP Home (or pro) and keep the disk. Note that almost all retailers will not accept returns on software. ---------------------------------------------- Work is for people who don't know how to surf Gateway Performance 1800 - P4 1.8gz, 512mb RAM, nVidia 5200; SB Live Value; Windows XP Professional, Photoshop CS2, Nikon D200 and D100

I run PCs, but my wife has a new mac. She needs to run Microsoft Business Solutions- Great Plains 8.0 on it. I am pretty sure I can run it if I install Parallels for Mac (which runs MS software on Macs.) I may have to install MS Windows XP SP2 on the mac to run this software after I install Parallels. The question is: Will my liscensed, keyed OEM copy of XP be OK to install on the Mac? Is it legal? ( The Mac has the new Intel Core Duo Processor supported by 2 gigs of RAM. Thanks. Paulie
