All, I have encountered a small Office XP problem. If anyone can provide advice toward resolving this problem I will be very grateful. Last week I allowed an automatic update to be installed on my computer. It turned out to be an Office XP update, apparently SP3. Well now when I try to start Excel an installation dialog box appears and I am prompted for my Office XP installation disk. Unfortunately the installation disk is locked away in storage in a remote location I won’t be to for a couple weeks. The result is I can no longer run Excel. Is there an easy solution to get Excel back until I can retrieve the disk? My current solution to be able to access my Excel file has been to install and use Open Office. The good news in all of this is I’ve discovered Open Office at lease early on appears to be a very nice product. Thank you, David

You can try uninstalling SP3 to see if this rectifies the issue. If not, you'll need to get the Office XP disc a.s.a.p. ---------------------------------------------- Work is for people who don't know how to surf Gateway Performance 1800 - P4 1.8gz, 1gig RAM, nVidia 5200; SB Live Value; Windows XP Professional, Photoshop CS2, Nikon D200 and D100
