| My Dell Optiplex GX110 Computer Freezes on first reboot after xp reinstall Now I have read all the suggestions here and what they boil down to is toss it and buy a new one. Everything from adjustments in the bios, heat sink fan, video card, cables, hard drive, cdrom drive, and wrong type of mother board.. This computer had windows xp pro installed on it and I needed to reinstall, I deleted the partition, recreated the partition and formated (I tried both Fat and the other one and tried to install todate about 10 times and it freezes each time when it reboots the first time, but I can boot in safe mode. There has to be some logical reason that this happenes, it worked before the reinstall so all that I have read cannot have happened in an hour. What is the problem ? HELP HELP HELP ---------------------------------------------- The Old Man |
