| Someone please help! All of the sudden when I try to launch my AOL software, I get the following message: Runtime error - Program:C:/programfiles/americaonline9.0/waol.exe This application has terminated in an unusual way. Please contact the applications support team for more info. I am running widows XP on a Dell 4600. I called aol and we tried a few things, (i.e., uninstalling and re-installing Aol software), none of them worked. They suggest I call Dell. Dell said they can fix it for $140.00! Any suggestions? |

| Before this error started, did you install another program or download something from the internet? If so, what? What AV, spyware and firewall are you using? (knowing this might help to understand whether you got hacked or not). You can try a freeware program called Advance Windows Care, which can help find the problem. If not, you may need to do a complete reinstall of everything (back up your data first and make sure that you have copies of all your software).
