My neighbor has high speed internet and it's not cheap. we would like to share the connection and share the bill. our houses are about 300-400 ft away from each other. I have looked into directional radios, wireless bridge routers, point-to-point routers, and range boosters. I can get a weak signal from his router in his home to my laptop in my home. I figured a range expander in my neighbor's house could work but my computer in my home would also need to boost its range for out-going signals. I looked up directional radios but they are overpowered and therefore over-priced. I think a wireless router with point-to-point capability would be best but I have no idea what the range of these routers are. Any suggestions, recommendations or information would be welcomed and appreciated.
