I've tried to down load MSN messenger and hit the 'open' button all seems to go ok until I get to the end and I get a message 'The ordinal 730 could not be located in the dynamic link library SHELL32.dll' Does anyone have any clues? Paul Thank you.

HI!! inadvertantly deleted MSN version 7.0. Now no matter what I try, I get a 'command line error click ?/ for help' messgae. SOMEONE PLEASE HELP!!

Window Live Messenger doesn't support Window 2000. Its for XP and Vista olny.

[/QUOTE] Yes it does, You ought to go read the sys reqs page on microsofts site for windows live messenger it clearly states that its available for all windows os's from 98 through vista, I am running it myself on win2k pro, you simply need to remove any and all previous versions of MSN messenger then run the install for the windows live messenger and you should have no trouble, I had the same error message exactly to the T and when I removed MSN messenger 7.0 and then ran the installer for windows live the error was not there and the install ran smoothly
