Hi there. I have a Toshiba Satellite A70 that I use to connect to a wireless network at home. It works great. However, when I am on a business trip, I am not able to connect to any wireless internet services. My computer detects and connects to any open wireless networks but once I try connecting to the internet, I get an error page in explorer. Any tips? Thanks

You'll have to check to see what local hotels, etc offer free wifi. Fruinjuice is in Calgary (Canada), and most of us are in the US. Otherwise, check to see what local services are available (you'll have to pay for those) ---------------------------------------------- Work is for people who don't know how to surf Gateway Performance 700C - P4 1.8gz, 1gig RAM, nVidia 5200; SB Audigy SE; Windows Vista Business, Photoshop CS2, Nikon D200 and D100

Fruinjuice Couple of things - check to see if "cookies" are enabled or disabled on IE. Also, check with your computer's documentation (including Toshiba's website) for info on connecting to a wifi hotspot. Many hotels that offer free wifi require the installation of an application for you to be able to connect to it. Check with those places as to how to connect to their wifi. Also, be careful - make sure that you have the latest version of IE along with good security (including a software firewall) to protect you from being hacked. Utilizing free wifi can expose your computer to hackers and other vulnerabilities. ---------------------------------------------- Work is for people who don't know how to surf Gateway Performance 700C - P4 1.8gz, 1gig RAM, nVidia 5200; SB Audigy SE; Windows Vista Business, Photoshop CS2, Nikon D200 and D100
