my newly built PC is starting to spontaneously reboot... i've gotten the following errors: BCCode : 1000008e BCP1 : C0000005 BCP2 : 80545650 BCP3 : B9A00548 BCP4 : 00000000 OSVer : 5_1_2600 SP : 2_0 Product : 256_1 can anyone help a sister out and let me know what the issue is? i can post any other hardware specs if that helps... i'm geeky enough to be a little dangerous, but not hardly enough to figure out a hardware/software issue... i'd have to take it into the geek squad for that...

Jen - is this a "custom" built PC? If so (and based on a quick Google), there's a good chance it's a hardware issue. Spontaneous reboots are often related to bad RAM - either system RAM or video RAM (I've had a couple of video cards where the video RAM crapped out and the whole system would reboot). Next guess would be an overheating issue. Make sure the fans are working and the heat sink or fan is properly attached to the CPU. ---------------------------------------------- Work is for people who don't know how to surf Gateway Performance 700C - P4 1.8gz, 1gig RAM, nVidia 5200; SB Audigy SE; Windows Vista Business, Photoshop CS3, Nikon D200 and D100
