I am using two Windows OS using dual boot. 1st I had Windows XP and my latest addition is Windows Vista Ultimate. However I am stuck up with a weird problem for network connectivity. I have configured network settings of Vista exactly same as my XP, however I am unable to ping my ISP's gateway from Vista. The same is working perfectly from XP. I disabled Firewalls of Vista, but no result. I do have Norton 2007 AV on both the OS and have allowed all default configurations on both them. Can anyone help me in zeroing on the issue?

Check under Device Manager to make sure that a driver is installed for tne network card. If not, go to the mfgr's site and check for one. FWIW, my system has an older Linksys 10/100 NIC. The older drivers (i.e. for winXP/Win2000) worked fine to get it to work. ---------------------------------------------- Work is for people who don't know how to surf Gateway Performance 700C - P4 1.8gz, 1gig RAM, nVidia 5200; SB Audigy SE; Windows Vista Business, Photoshop CS3, Nikon D200 and D100
