well has this never worked/ever worked. do u know what caused this. try safe mode and a full clean boot using msconfig.exe. does this happen in any app, just ie, or what? if safe mode works it's 3rd party software use msconfig to narrow it down. if safe mode doesnt work windows is hosed or you have a virus. scan for a virus at http://housecall.antivirus.com
