I have a Brother HL-2070N hooked up to my home network wireless router. Tried printing from one of the laptops in the house and I kept getting failed print messages. After a little more investigating it seems that this particular laptop cannot connect to my network, yet it can still access the internet. Plus i can't ping this computer, but I can on all the rest. All the other computers in the network connect and print fine.
I've tried reinstalling the drivers for my network adapters, I've tried resetting the network connection, reinstalling the printer drivers (just in case) and now I'm out of ideas. Any help?

I'm @ssuming you're running a peer to peer network. In order for the computers to "see" each other, and for your laptop to connect to the printer, all the computers need to be under the same workgroup name.
First, how many computers do you have, and which OS (i.e. WinX Home, WinXP Pro, Vista Home, Vista Business, etc) are they running?
Next, if all are Windows based, run Network Setup Wizard and give all the same network name. From there, you should be able to install the printer (make sure that printer sharing is enabled on this printer) on the laptop.

I'm running Win XP pro on two and i just got a laptop with Vista Home Premium. The thing that confuses me is that yesterday this computer printed fine, so it must've been set up correctly before. I'll try the network name change just to be sure, though

Still no go. Should it matter if file and printer sharing is enabled if the computer is essentially connected directly to the printer through my wireless router? I thought you'd only need sharing enabled if the printer was connected to a server or another computer, not if it's connected directly to the router.

Is the printer connected to the router? If so, (I'm not familiar with this printer), and it's designed as a network printer, you'll have to install and configure the printer on the laptop using the correct (Vista) driver, and configure the IP address for the printer.
