Hi, i have just got windows vista and heard it is really good for dvd playing and recording etc. I am going on a long flight next week and want to place some of my recorded tv programs from my tv's dvd recorder onto my pc and play them back to save power as the dvd player on my laptop obviously will drain the battery. I have copied the folder from the dvd disk and placed into "videos" when i right click there is an option that say "play with media player" if i select this nothing happens, media player opens but does not play the tv programme. I can use the dvd disk i suppose but i would rather load it onto my laptop before hand to save power. Can I do this? or do i have to get some other software thanks
