I am running Windows 2003 in Terminal Server Mode...When I Launch Outlook i get the following Safe Mode Cycle and Outlook never opens... (Note: I an not running citrix or metaframe just Remote Desktop for terminal server users through a WYSE Terminal) I searched through my registry and have no Resiliency Keys... --------------- Outlook failed to start correctly last time. Starting Outlook in safe mode will help you correct or isolate a startup problem in order to successfully start the program. Some functionality may be disabled in this mode. Do you want to start Outlook in safe mode? You can click either Yes or No and Outlook opens. The next time you launch Outlook you are not given the prompt. However, at the next launch of Outlook you are given the prompt. On the following logon, you are not given the prompt. This loop of Outlook 2002 prompting for Safe Mode every other time you launch Outlook continues indefinitely. ------------------------ All the solutions i have found to this problem refer to deleting the Resiliency key for Outlook at the following location: HKLM\Software\Microsoft\Windows NT\Current Version\Terminal Server\Install\Software\Microsoft\Office\10.0\Outlook\Resiliency But unfortunately this key does not exist...on the Anetforums at the following link which is the accepted solution for one user (http://www.anetforums.com/posts.aspx?ThreadIndex=7064) ------------------------------ Thanks for the tip, but I've run into an issue. Here's what you said to delete: HKLM\Software\Microsoft\Windows NT\Current Version\Terminal Server\Install\Software\Microsoft\Office\10.0\Outlook\Resiliency Here's what my registry looks like: HKLM\Software\Microsoft\Windows NT\Current Version\Terminal Server\Install\Software\Microsoft\Office\11.0\... or HKLM\Software\Microsoft\Windows NT\Current Version\Terminal Server\Install\Software\Microsoft\Office\9.0\... or HKLM\Software\Microsoft\Windows NT\Current Version\Terminal Server\Install\Software\Microsoft\Office\8.0\... none of which end with...\Outlook\Resiliency What gives? I'm not the most savvy regedit guy out there but I'm at a loss as to my next move. ------------------- I have reinstalled office, I also tried Office XP, to no avail...I also deleted all the keys for office did an uninstall and a reinstall again to no avail....I have copied the PST files to a laptop to test the integrity of the pst file on a NON-Windows 2003 Server machine and the PST file opens just fine. Anyone's help would be greatly appreciated, I just became a member and this is my first post so If I am missing any crucial information let me know...Thanks!!
