| First, is this a store bought computer (i.e. Dell, Gateway, HP, etc) or a "custom" built? If one of these, check the respective websites for the specific drivers. Another idea to try is to do the following: Go to Control Panel/Performance and Maintenance/System and choose the Hardware tab and then Device Manager. Under Sound, Video and Game Controllers you should see one or more items with a yellow !. Right click and choose uninstall for all, and reboot your computer. | You may purchase the new sound card. It only worth 7 to 10 US Dollars. You'll also get Sound Drivers for that also. Just Install it & I'm sure you'll get the sound. ---------------------------------------------- like problems |
