When trying to save a photo off a webpage (I belong to a photo contest/editing forum), my options are only BMP or ART.... which would be fine if they were REALLY saving that way --- just use Paint to switch it over to a JPG --- but they're not. I get the options of ART or BMP, I save as one of those, try to open in Paint, and it says it's invalid. Also won't open in ANY other program. Discovered that although it SAYS I saved it as BMP or ART, and it's shown as an icon (like all other ART/BMP files) as opposed to a thumbnail image, the "properties" still list it as JPG. So, I have no idea what it's really saving it as. I've already tried the following: Clearing history/temp internet/cookies/etc. Run/Regedit.... check extensions for "JPE" AOL settings to "Never compress graphics" Disk space set to "50" Checking for damaged plug-ins Resetting IE7 If anybody has a clue where to go from here, I'd REALLY appreciate it.

Is this with all websites, or a specific website. Some sites use JPEG's, some GIF's, some BMP, etc. Also, depending upon how the website is coded, it may be set up in such a way as to prevent anyone from saving files. If you can provide a link, I'll check it out. ---------------------------------------------- Work is for people who don't know how to surf Gateway 15.4" Laptop, Windows Vista Ultimate/Server 2008, Photoshop CS3, Nikon D200
