Hello, I have recently been getting frequenty freezes and unable to fix the problem. The event error log shows the following three error messages each time the freezing occurs. Any suggestions for an easy fix would be appreciated. My mobo does have interrmiittently bad connections in the RAM sockets when the sticks are romoved and reinserted, but I didn't touch them this time. I don't know if that alone would be the cause of the freezes and the event errors. If what you describe is correct (i.e. intermittent bad connections between RAM and the motherboard), you may want to try cleaning both the RAM contacts and the sockets using isopropyl alcohol. Essentially, power off the machine, AND unplug it, and use q-tips to clean both. Also, use canned air to blow out any dust/debris that may be in the socket. Here's a post I found on how to do it. http://www.computing.net/answers/hardware/ram-problem-crashes/46341.html ---------------------------------------------- Work is for people who don't know how to surf Gateway 15.4" Laptop, Windows Vista Ultimate/Server 2008, Photoshop CS3, Nikon D200
