This is the set-up I am running in my house. Motorola surfboard 5100 cable modem hooked to a D-Link VWR-VD Vonage wireless router with 4 port hub. I have a APC Backup 300 plugged into the modem and router, which is great when we lose electricity, we can surf the net with our laptops. Every couple of months I have to unplug the router, when the connection gets slow, and I lose all of my WEP encryption and the port forwarding I have set up for my sons XBOX 360. I have replaced the router and the firmware is up to date. Is there something I can do to keep from losing my settings, Vonage tech support is no help. Is there a firmware that would work with the Vonage router and not loose its voip capability's?
