Hi people, i am a new member so wanted to say hello and post a very frustrating problem i have. I have a Windows Server 2003 network with approx 15 Windows XP PC's attached. On random intervals the PC's will loose the network connection, not all at once but individually, and it just seems it is for a couple of seconds, then it's back on. The PC's have had both static and DHCP IP addresses but fails either way. They are running Symantec Client Security for the AV and nothing is blocked in the config. All network cables from the PC's have been swapped and the main switch has been swapped. Opportunistic locking on the server has been disabled. As it is random and not all PC's fall off the network i don't think it is the server NIC. I am tearing my hair out with this, and have no idea where to go next. Please has anyone got any ideas on what i can do next. Thanks in advacne.
