if the file is contained about 10 - 15 folders deep then the path length would be too large to delete it anyway, this is where transferring the folder containing the troublemaker to your root solves the problem
Thanks, that was exactly my problem. Now that I know the cause I completely get what is going on... People like to add as many 'keywords' as possible to a file on the p2p networks, and if the download folder is deep too, you can't touch it. Moving the containing folder to the root will allow you to delete it (or rename to something reasonable if the file is good) then you can move the folder back.
krashd gets my vote for best 1st post.
