Here's what works for me. I'm running W2K and iE6.

Open iE and then open a link in a "new Window".

Resize the New Window the way you want it.
Then you MUST close the original iE window first and close the resized New Window last.

This stores the New Window size and position in the registry, until an errant web page resizes it for you.

Thank you! This problem recently appeared and your solution fixed the problem. I couldn't find anything to fix it on Microsoft Support. Thanks for posting the remedy. Rich Emoticon
