MSN Messenger will not auto log-in   Post Reply

I installed MSN Messenger and have it set to auto log-in on startup. It comes up but will not remember my username and password. If I exit MSN Messenger and restart it immediately it will not remember my username and password. So I am resigned to manually logging in everyday.

Any suggestions?

Could be a number of reasons here. It could be a setting in MSN Messenger, or a setting in Internet Explorer. Make sure that cookies are not restricted in Internet Explorer via Tools --> Internet Options --> Privacy.. If it says Medium, then you should be ok there. Go to MSN Messenger, and log in. Then check the options in there. Can't help you with MSN Messenger because I don't use it. GL!

(P.S. Look for something referring to "Remember name and password" in MSN Messenger options).
