From reading the FAQ for ICUII I wouldn't be using this software as they appear to not care about security. They advise over and over to turn off firewalls, etc. Completely irresponsible on their part.
You want a firewall. If you are running in DMZ mode than at least install Zone Alarm. As far as the password thing, if the account has no password anybody can access the machine over the LAN. Unless you are using Windows XP that is, which by default will not grant network access to accounts with blank passwords. |
