Thursday's Windows 2000 update has glitched something to do with scrolling pages, menus and such. Now, the active window scrolls up and down a few lines rapidly making the system unusable. In fact, I had to use notepad to enter this! In addition, randomly, the shift keys become forward/back keys in the web browser. This all started while the update was proceeding and I can't for the life of me find a way to stop it or un-do it. Microsoft said they'd get back to me in 24 hours but they didn't. If anybody knows what DLL or whatever controls this that was also updated, please let me know. I need to get my system working again and I hate doing ground-up reinstalls as they take several days. Thanks! Bill Catz
