This new milestone of
Microsoft Project is a major release that really brings a lot of long
awaited enhancements. The fact that Microsoft Project 2000 uses exactly
the same interface (absolutely no difference) than other Microsoft Office
2000 is a gage of integration and homogeneity. Microsoft Project Central
is really the ultimate companion for Project users and is packed full of
features users havent even dreamt of yet.
The only problem is that it requires NT4 SP3 or greater and IIS: if you
haven't got this environment you won't be able to use it. With Project 2000, Microsoft will surely extend its
user base with many new users because of this softwares unprecedented
ease of use. Finally Microsoft Project 2000 is really state of the art
project management software that leaves other competing software solutions
in the dust!
